Tour to Axiata CyberFusion Center (ACFC) in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia
A great experience at the Axiata Cyber Fusion Center (ACFC), Kuala Lumpur 
During my visit to Malaysia, had the opportunity to visit the Axiata Cyber Fusion Center (ACFC) in Kuala Lumpur on 5th November 2025, where I was warmly welcomed by @Balachandra Iyer and the amazing ACFC team.
It was inspiring to meet the Red Team, Blue Team, and Cyber Security experts, and to see firsthand how they work together to protect Axiata’s digital ecosystem and prepared to offer such service to the future. Initially, I thought ACFC was a SIEM-based service center, but it’s far beyond that.
They focus on Manage Detect and Response (MDR) with real-time security mechanisms, encompassing and offering GRC, SOC, cybersecurity audits, and a wide range of cyber defense activities that enhance security with true platform independence.
ACFC isn’t tied to any single vendor as they operate across technologies to deliver maximum value and resilience. (however, they are currently with Microsoft). I also learned about HELIOS, ACFC’s in-house developed AI-powered threat attribution and detection platform. It goes far beyond a traditional SIEM, combining real-time analytics, dark web monitoring, and automated threat response.
HELIOS strengthens ACFC’s MDR, GRC (Governance Risk and Compliance), and SOC operations with platform-independent security intelligence across multiple technologies.
The tour offered great insight into ACFC’s advanced capabilities in threat monitoring, incident response, and proactive defense. Truly impressive work by the team driving cybersecurity excellence across the Axiata Group!
